November 8 & 9         USTA College Clay Court Championships at ESPN Wide World of Sports.  Stop in and watch this outstanding men’s & women’s college team event.  Support the 24 Orlando area kids, ages 10-14, who are volunteering as ball people for the Saturday & Sunday matches all of which will be carried live on ESPN 3.  A special thank you to all the volunteers – adults & kids, for helping to make this a special event.  PGA Tour Superstore provided the ball person tee shirts and provided gift items for all these volunteers.  Disney provided lunch for the volunteers and offered a special entry price for kids.


November 11            PGA Tour Superstore will be hosting a “Tennis Open House” at their new 60,000 sq foot store on Turkey Lake Road.  Nationally, PGA Tour Superstore has 22 stores and has a growing presence in the tennis market.  Several stores in the Atlanta area have 36’ courts and hitting walls inside the store. They will be providing the Orlando area with a look at their tennis offerings as well as light refreshments, a gift item and an outstanding schedule of dynamic speakers! You must RSVP to tsmasterpro@aol.com.  No charge but limited seating.

December 5 & 6         Ed Krass will be hosting a college coach recruiting event in Tampa for ages 15-18.  There will be 25 College Head Coaches who will be working, evaluating & recruiting.  For details go to www.collegetennis.com.


December 12               Cardio Tennis Training at Forestmeadows park, Tallahassee.  This class teaches the fundamentals of Cardio Tennis and everything you need to know to make it a a success at your facility.  The class will run from 9 am- 4 pm and the registration fee is $150.  Register at www.cardiotennistraining.com.

 February 27 – 29             Women’s Pro Circuit “Wild Card Tournament at Orlando Tennis Centre.  This is an opportunity for top local ladies to test their skills and earn a wild card into the qualifier and/or main draw in singles or doubles.  Register atThomas.sweitzer@cityoforlando.net.
